Hi! my name is *Alina* on the net. I adopted it from a celtic ancestor of mine while researching my family genealogy back in Ireland. I'm excited to be here and cannot wait to learn more from everyone who is more experianced in the craft then I am. Also, I may add that I just enrolled into a wiccan college so that I can get more knowledge on the subject. I realize not everybody needs or wants to go to a formal school on wicca and It isn't really necessary when you can get just about the same amount of info just by reading books and joining various forums but for me, I believe it is the best thing for me. I need that structure especially when there is so much involved to it.

I live in an area where there are no real covens around or either that just not what I am looking for. I am interested in working with the faeries and learning about the celts (my ancestory) and because of my location tis impossible to find a coven like that, hence I will be practicing solitary for the time being.

I am a self taught tarot reader, learning from many books and forums. I have over thirty decks at last count. Another thing I will be getting into is working with a pendulum. I have a moonstone pendulum that is on it's way to me via the post.

I will be writing about my studies as I go along with my new journey. That way I can check my progress..from not knowing anything about wicca/witchcraft to finally gaining some knowledge about it.
